Royal Flush by Neb

I have this burning the desire within me to perfect my skills in lighting and photography. I want to someday become a master in photography but before that happens I gotta practice a lot.

So what did I do?

a week after the Mena Shoot I asked Neb if he wants to shoot. He said yes ofcourse. To my surprise he gave me an extravagant photoshoot one that costs too much more than my budget would allow and we were just recently acquainted with each other haha. To be honest I was only expecting from him to plan just a so-so shoot to learn lighting. Unfortunately I wasn't able to share 50/50 of the burden (but I did contribute) but the shoot turned out great. Check him out

I took this opportunity then to practice my lighting and am glad and confident that I can light on my own provided that the shoot isn't low-key or outdoors yet. haha

I have to thank Benjamin Arnold for this shoot. He was the one responsible for putting up the team and conceptualizing the photoshoot. In this shoot:

Models: Kelvin Mangilit, Joaquin Bais, Meg Lee, Jazel Mercado, Jill Manuel
Stylist: Sasha Aguilar
Photogs: Me, Benjamin Arnold
Poker Guy: Miguel Perlada

Sorry but I'll update this post once I get links to their own Portfolio sites.

Mena Shoot

Okay I should've posted this BTS blog a long time ago but wordpress aint really that noob friendly with the photo uploads so I didn't post the story there so anyway one night Abee sent me a message asking me to help her and her photog slash make-up artist sister Andee with the studio lighting for their own semi-nude shoot. Yeah but ofcourse I wasn't inside when it happened :P and Janno (the guy sitting on the couch in the first photo) who was better at me in lighting was the one who did their setup instead.

So while we were still on ym! I asked her out if I can have a photoshoot with her after their shoot just to grab the opportunity cause free-models don't come very often haha. Twas a free practice anyway. Although I already know or have some background on lighting setups cause I watch all those video tutorials, I still learned alot from Janno. Those video tutorials are only supposed to teach you the basics but unless you dont get a hands on experience you wont understand but the video tuts were great nonetheless.

I'm glad that the twins decided to accept my photoshoot offer and I'll just share some of the wacky cuts from the photoshoot. haha

This wacky photo makes me laugh hahaha.

And her twin Sam

Lol for funny faces haha

I haven't posted photos of Sam as I'm kinda lazy and busy with thesis and other stuff right now anyway here are some of the photo's.
