Here comes the sun

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

Warmth of the sand

Relax and stand in the warmth of the sand
the day is long
and here for us to take for granted.
We find ourselves to our knees
Water clear, a tender breeze upon our faces
as we bask in our good graces
Yeah, we all are golden here.

And summer, and summer,
where night belongs to lust and lovers.
And summer, and summer,
and I am here to win you over.
You will be mine this year. (this year that's right this is the one this year, this year)

The sun is set and the moon is high,
The night is long and here for you and I to capture (it's for us)
And flood ourselves to the gills with icey drinks
With bolstering wills and we are braver for the moment
Yeah, we all are golden here

And summer, and summer,
where all the girls bare olive shoulders,
and summer, and summer,
and I am here to win you over.
You will be mine this year. (this year)

The courtyard where the garden stands,
Behind the beach, in crystal and sands, we shed our clothes,
And felt romantic, tinted by the moon fantastic.
Bright and warm, and hours alone absolve us of the sins we own.
And from one year into another I think of you when I feel summer.

And summer, and summer, where all the girls bear olive shoulders
And summer, and summer, where all you hope for is another
And summer, and summer, where night belongs to lust and lovers
And summer, and summer, and I am here to win you over
You will be mine this year. (This year)

Goodmorning Hua Hin

Goodmorning everyone!

I just woke up and my haird is still a mess. I'm here in Hua Hin right now. I wanna show you guys where Hua Hin is but I don't know how to GPS track a blog post or insert a GPS location here. Hua Hin is great, the beach is awesome. I went there yesterday to glimpse the seaview and the sea breeze is fantastic. I also had a nice bubble bath last night and it was heaven!I will be having a breakfast later and my itinerary for today is to swim :)

I'll take a picture of the beach later too so you'd see how fine the sands are plus there are people riding horseback.

As the New Year fast approaches stay safe everyone. Oh yeah, my buds in GATECRASHMANILA are having an after fireworks party tonight @ Club Ascend. Just visit our website for more information www.gatecrashmanila.com

This is Nirvana :)

The Sun sets in Crystal City

This place is like eastwood city with a mix of alabang town center and serendra. Cool place to chill, not much crowd. Lots of luxury items can be bought here, and most of them just by window shopping looks expensive.

We ate pizza at scoozi and my god it tasted so good. :) Better than CPK or Yellow Cab. The thai drinks are also mixed with some form of thai secret ingredient that leaves a thai taste on your tongue

There is also a stage where bands play in the middle of crystal city located just as you enter through the parking lots.

On the way here Mom was also enthusing me how advertising, music and arts are well positioned in thailand as well as the Thai culture and a bit of business and economics chat. Hehe. She says it's the thai's discipline and patriotism of local brands that transformed Thailand into a well developed country. And as our discussion further went deep, It makes me want to do a research on wether Thai is an import or export oriented country (I must listen more to Prof Halcon and Prof. Art) as well as the correlation between advertising and economic growth. Hehe but it's too studious and time consuming. I might as well pursue photography instead :P

p.s. gaah next time i'll bring a digicam or probably a very portable tripod so i can take good pics of myself haha I keep teaching mom how to take a good photo but it fails hahaha. Oh yeah the sunset is nice here, although you wont see the setting itself, but the Facade of crystal city makes it so.

Off to work.. kidding. :) We were just going to Central Mall in Bangkok. Though I really look like going to work here :( hahaha plus I got some yogurts along. :P

Morning View

December 26th, such an unusual day to be waking up early.

It's gleaming brightness went straight for my pupils and alerted my senses, quickly I decided to cover my eyes and take cover.

Although I woke up facing opposite my bedroom windows, I was prevented going back to sleep when I turned around to see that the sun shone directly right into the window of my bed room.

I went around the unit to indulge in the view from above. The view from Las Colinas could've been breathakingly captivating to the fullest if not for the smog that engulfed the entire city of Bangkok. Nevertheless the view is amazing. So i took my camera, only to forget that  I left my wide angle inside the room of my mother who locked her doors so as to avoid being disturbed. I made do with what I had, a 50 mm prime lens.

A lot more in store for today. I might go to the technology center and buy my HTC some protection and accessories.

Siam Lights

Open your eyes child, so you can clearly see the world.

Love is all you need - The Beatles

One thing I've noticed here in Bangkok is that advertising is way different and more advanced. Unlike in the Philippines were most ads are along EDSA's billboards, here advertising can be seen in the form of stuff like this. And almost everywhere there are electronic scrolling billboards. It's kinda hard to explain unless you see them. And along the skyway, there are street ads in the supporting columns with great photographic inspiration lol. hehe

In short terms. Advertising is strong and stiff here and I think its good to land a job as a commercial/fashion/ photographer here hehe.

Siam and Suan Lum Night Bazaars

On christmas day we spent much of the evening at Bangkok's famous night bazaars. It took us nearly two hours to get there as we got stuck in traffic. Obviously, everybody here in the capitol is going to the night bazaars themselves to buy what they can on christmas day. Probably a trend here in thai. When we got there, it seems an activity was taking place. Lots of school boys and girls present. The guys where kinda weird, I could not determine if they were jumbo totoy's or high school kiddoes because they were wearing shorts for their uniforms. It was a weird sight but I guess they got used to it because of their culture. Lucky for us filipino's we only wore shorts in kindergarten :P

stuck in traffic x-( at about 5pm, I slept afterwards.

Siam

I was already here on the even I landed in thai. We ate at Hard Rock's Cafe before going home that night. It was almost empty then, however on this christmas day, it was jampacked with people mostly teens. As it seems, they have been lured into Siam by the concert in the i-don't-know-what-it's-called square just right infront of Hard Rock's.

Like I said, alot of school boy's and girls present.

We went around looking for things to buy but weren't able to find one we liked so we decided to eat.

err, too many pics of Mom already. Got nobody to document me.

Dinner at Somtam

Delicious I must say. In thai culture they prefer to eat sticky rice (noodles in reality) instead of normal rice. Not sure though if it's really called sticky rice because everything in the menu is thai. We were able to pick the menu only because Mom was here before brought here by here friends.

You must try the chicken and that thai rice (as shown in the pics below)

Be warned though, Thai cuisine is known for being spicy. :)

But don't worry these items below aren't that much spicy.

I lol'd at this. They fill your glasses with shredded ice.

Too much wax, bad hair day hehe.

Thai yucky / yaki / sticky rice

last two (T-B): Chicken, watermelon something.

After eating, we continued our hunt for clothing and on the way out I decided to have a picture beside mr snowman.

Suan Lum

When you are in Bangkok and planning to buy souvenir clothing, I suggest to you the Suan Lum night bazaar. I didn't bring my camera but for you filipinoes out there, this place looks like the modern Tiendesitas, only better. This is the hub for thai artists and creative and fashion designers and as she said, most of the items are designer clothing.

You can buy creative tee's at around 250 baht, polo's at 500 to 700 baht, pants at 1000 baht up. Design are nice and most of the pants are nearly everything is skinny. LOL. There are also food stalls and art shops, shoes, wrist watches and etc. Whats even more fun and challenging is that prices here can be haggled! hehe

I did nearly all of my shopping here :)

You will enjoy it here, even my friend who went here loved the Bazaar at Suan Lum. Oh yeah don't forget to bring a camera, There's a white lady and a temple of sorts here where you can take pictures.

Afterwards we went back to Siam night bazaar part two again but didn't buy anything.
